From social scientist to mapmaker

Hi, I’m Robin, the person behind Drawn to Travel .

In my regular job, I research why we’re not doing enough to fight climate change. With this project, I want to contribute something more tangible to help solve the problem.

With Drawn to Travel, I want to create something that inspires people to move through the world more sustainably. I also love trains and travelling on them, watching the landscape roll by, and letting myself be inspired by what I see.

When I'm not making maps, and find time besides writing about climate politics and communication, you'll most likely find me somewhere outside, probably on a mountain.
